Monsoon Season is in its last stage and terror of mosquitoes are at its high. You can find the viral fever case everywhere. Disease like malaria, dengue, chikungunya and many more vector borne diseases, mosquitoes are a big menace to humanity.

Do you know mosquito repellent doesn’t actually kill mosquitoes? Repellents work by making people less attractive to mosquitoes, it keep you safe from mosquito bites. To save yourself most of us use chemical mosquito repellent or machines to kill them. Chemical repellent agents have been known to cause allergic reactions in some and are simply harmful to others.

Neem oil: Neem oil is best natural mosquito repellent. Mixture of lemon oil and eucalyptus oil is extremely effective in warding off mosquitoes naturally. Being a potent antibacterial, anti-fungal, antiviral and anti-protozoal agent, neem lends your skin a particular smell that wards off mosquitoes.

Lavender: lavender’s smell is divine and loved by humans all over the world, but mosquitoes hate it therefore it’s a great way to keep mosquitoes at bay. Its strong scent making mosquitoes unable to bite. Lavender oil can use as room freshener or apply on your skin. To apply it on skin you can mix it in your cream. You can add drop of lavender oil on ribbon or curtain and place it on windows. It will keep mosquitoes away from your room.

Camphor: Camphor is basic ingredient we use in our houses. Camphor made from extract of a tree. Unlike lavender oil camphor kills mosquitoes. Burn camphor in a closed room and left it for few minutes. Camphor will kill all mosquitoes there in room and its smell will keep other mosquitoes away from room. Since it’s made from tree extract burning it will not harm you and makes it best natural mosquito repellent.

Garlic: We all use garlic in our vegetable and tea, it also have medical benefits. We all know garlic smell badly. Its smell is bad not us but mosquitoes too. Therefore you can use it as natural mosquito repellents. To make repellent crush few pod of garlic and boil it in water and spray water in your room to keep mosquitoes free.
